O P Columbia (OPC) is a major participant in the aquaculture industry based in Whitianga on the Coromandel Peninsula. We specialise in Greenshell ™ mussels. We are a seasonal factory operating from September through to July each year.

Benefits of working for us
We now have opportunities for mussel openers to earn above average pay. Our openers start on a basic hourly rate of $16.50/hr but quickly progress to a contract rate once opening at speed. Openers work 8 hours over 3 sub-shifts with two half-hour breaks in between. Both day and night shift is available. We offer a supportive working environment and full training will be given.
