We are one of the largest companies on the NZX and our reputation for innovation is showcased by our new Head Office, which is designed around the concept of Activity Based Working; a creative way of working which promotes flexibility, and enables collaboration between individuals and teams.The Community and Communication team are responsible for delivering external activities that foster and sustain engagement with the communities Trustpower operates in, and aligning that work to deliver on Trustpower's strategic objectives.

We are looking for someone to join us, on a 12-month fixed-term contract, who is a strategic thinker that is able to put strategy into action. They will bring people on the journey, both internally and externally and will be able to work cross functionally by building relationships and bringing the right people together.

The role itself is varied but the foundational skills required are based on identifying opportunities and risks to the way Trustpower shows up in the communities we operate in, being able to work collaboratively and to embrace the on-going changing environment that we operate in.

With a focus on communication, we are looking for someone with exceptional communication skills who is able to deliver on the content, provide advice and support to other business units and design and deliver initiatives that improves the experience of communication at Trustpower.

Experience in online communication and social media monitoring is advantageous.

To be successful in this role you will be curious, have loads of initiative, and be passionate about continuous improvement. You will be highly self-motivated while also being a collaboration master who is able to challenge the status quo.
