Job Description

Personality? Professionalism? Perfect!

  • Fixed Term - Part Time
  • Enjoy customer service and sales with our great suite of postal and banking products and services

The PostShop has always gone hand-in-hand with great service. That's not the 'scripted' idea of customer service; rather its service with a smile, where you build genuine relationships with people you will see time and time again.

The way you mix personal and friendly service with professional insightful help, will be what makes you a very successful Customer Services Officer. You will be the vital front-line link between our customers and our extensive range of products and services in a Kiwibank/New Zealand Post branch where you can feel the heartbeat of your community.

Working in a fast paced environment you will be the kind of person who gets excited by the idea of experiencing no two days the same!   A dynamic high foot traffic site provides plenty of diversity and would suit someone adaptable and resilient.

Kiwibank/New Zealand Post provides a comprehensive training programme, which takes place during the week. Please note you will need to be available full-time for at least the first three to four weeks during the week to complete your training.

With your training and natural desire to understand a customer's needs, you will know exactly which of our broad range of products and services is needed to give a truly superior experience every time. An exposure to sales would definitely be an advantage.

We have always been and still are, proud to be Kiwi and Kiwi owned. This is an excellent opportunity for you to join one of New Zealand's most trusted names. In return, we promise you a supportive and helpful environment with a remuneration package that rewards you for your efforts, provides benefits and plenty of career opportunities.

The hours for this role are Friday (08.45 - 17.00) and Saturday (08.45 - 13.15), total 11.75 hours per week.

We're all about making Kiwis better off. That means for our customers, our communities, and our own people. We are continuously striving for an inclusive culture where everyone has the opportunity to thrive. We are committed to providing a workplace that is safe, flexible, and accessible. Sound like something you want to be a part of?

So if you have a can do attitude, and are willing to learn and grow, then apply now!

All applicants will be required to provide proof of their eligibility to work in New Zealand. Appointees will be subject to a security and credit check.

Applications closes 23 March 2019
