- Must be a qualified electrician
- Are you a problem solver who looks for solutions?
- Full time Monday - Friday permanent position
My client is an independent family owned company and regarded as a premium partner of the construction industry. They are a quality provider of high-performance specialty building materials and highly regarded in their field.
With their current Engineering Supervisor looking to retire at the end of this year, they are looking to have someone join them in September/October to have a thorough hand over period.
To be successful with this role you MUST be electrical qualified and this is not negotiable.
You may be a current electrician who loves to be hands on with machinery, ideally having had some experience in a manufacturing/factory environment. However this is not essential as long as you are willing to get involved, be hands on and not afraid to get dirty.
There are elements of this role that will require the use of the computer (notes/reports on fuel/power/water consumption etc) so you will need to be confident in this area.
Typical duties would include:

- Supervising one other engineer
- Working on electrical maintenance (transformers on site, motor controls etc)
- Primary contact for security
This role is a 40 hour Monday-Friday position, however these hours are to made up with a Monday 5am-4pm, and the following days flexible hours to make up the 40 hours over the week. You may decide you wish to have one or two short days, however you will be required on site each day.
