- Support and implement solutions across the Motoring service business
- A true partnering opportunity
- One team approach
In this newly created role you will start your journey understanding the needs and opportunities of our geographically spread network of AA Auto Centres, Inspection Centres and other third party partnerships. You will lead the creation of a Health and Safety culture with these operational groups.
Based in our Head Office on Albert Street, you will report to the National Health & Safety Manager for specific governance and compliance responsibilities.
You will also have the opportunity to help develop and implement practical Health & Safety initiatives for diverse workplaces such as vehicle based workers, vehicle workshops and offices.
But it's not just about health and safety. For us, a key aspect is about the person - their fit within the team and ability to interact well with different groups across the wider divisions. Your good interpersonal and communication skills and a healthy sense of humour will mean you can impart your knowledge clearly, concisely and interestingly, making you a good person to deal with and to have on our team.
Your Health & Safety experience must have given you a deep understanding of what is high priority, where the main areas of risk are within a business, what a modern, sensible Health & Safety culture looks like. Automotive Industry experience isn't essential, although it could be helpful. For us it's more about the person, their fit with the organization and ability to work with different teams and an aging workforce.
You will have proven success in implementing processes within a complex working environment and you will be more than capable of managing your own time and using influencing to get results.
So we hope this opportunity has sparked your interest, left you intrigued and if you're seeking a new challenge, then we want to talk to you.
