This HR team is growing due to workload. This large business has only had an HR function for the past two years, so processes and systems have now been set up and they are needing to expand the team and experience levels.

We are needing someone who is potentially sitting with around 3-4 years’ experience. You are going to relied upon for your broad understanding of HR. Currently the role sits around 60% recruitment with it being a wide variety of roles, however senior management recruitment will be taken care by another team member. 

Your direct team is very hands on so you are going to be exposed to all parts of the HR processes and be trained in areas that you may right now not be confident in.

Having the experience to manage and oversee disciplinary issues is one part of the role they can’t comprise experience on - you need to have had this. 

The team is engaging, professional but relaxed, very focused on their people and have created an inclusive and open HR team and culture. Personally who would ideally fit is someone who has a good sense of humour, detailed and follows strong processes, action orientated as the job can be busy with so many things going on a once. Having an HR degree is also ideal. We need someone who can show us that they are the committed type. 

Plenty of training and support will be given and over time progression could be given to the right person.
