My client offers a unique learning environment where students are able to learn at their own pace. All of their programmes are structured in a manner which enables students to logically and systematically follow the prescribed courseware. This courseware is delivered to them through their desktop PC at their own workstation. This training approach means that students do not learn in a traditional classroom environment. To support this style of learning, qualified and experienced tutors are always on hand.
This Tutor position requires Infrastructure and Software knowledge.
Software; Understanding of databases, SQL, Python, Java, C#, Unity, HTML, SCC, Java Script, Web Design, SDLC, Software and Agile testing and Project Management.
Infrastructure; A+, Network+, Cisco Networking, Windows Server 2016 and Project+, PowerShell, ITIL, VolP and VM.
As well as supporting students, the Tutor will prepare and facilitate workshops, collaborative projects, academic support sessions, monitor student performance, maintain records of student progress, develop individual learning programmes and assess student’s progress throughout tutoring sessions. Tutors work on a rotating roster and the shifts range from 7.30am – 10pm Monday – Friday and the occasional Saturday 8am – 1pm.
