About the role
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Crew as Innovations & Projects Manager at our Bungy HQ, based in beautiful Queenstown.
We've got the best Crew & Customers around & there's plenty of chance to make your mark & play a vital role in master planning projects, as we cater for tourism growth & additional activities.
We're looking to the successful candidate to take ownership of a wide range of innovations & oversee the development & maintenance of specialist equipment for use in our range of gravity related activities & projects.
Working on multiple projects & innovations, you'll take responsibility for overseeing fulfilment of new projects from conception to completion. This includes scoping, planning & commissioning works, working to budgets & deadlines, managing Crew, contractors & external parties & adhering to industry & local legislation & SOPs. Working in conjunction with the Innovations, Projects, Maintenance & Engineering teams, as well as Senior Management, you'll utilise your exceptional engineering skills, interest in & understanding of Amusement Device Operators & project management expertise.
As much as we like to have fun, a safety focused attitude is paramount & the ability to provide input to the continually improving safety standards of our operations & the industry, along with a healthy respect for our customer base, is key to success! This role is fast pace, high energy & different every single day – just like our activities!
This is a long term, permanent, 5 days/week position & successful applicants must be eligible to work in NZ, prepared to travel & flexible in their availability.

Skills & Experience
If you think you've got what it takes, you'll need to be/have
- 10+ years' experience in a relevant environment
- Experienced Project Manager with strong technical ability
- Experience in controls, mechanical & structures will be an advantage
- Interest in specialised infrastructure, innovation & project engineering
- Mature & reliable with an uncompromising safety conscious mind-set
- Understanding & interest in Amusement Device operations
- H&S & First Aid Certification, preferable
- Current, clean & full NZ Driver's Licence
- Computer-literate with good communication skills
- Dedicated, creative & calm under pressure
- Ability to manage Contractors, Consultants, Suppliers & Crew, with good knowledge of compliance requirements
- Someone that doesn't think twice about fitting hard work & fun times into the same day
