Right now, we're looking for 2 Meter Reading Super Stars to join our Tauranga Team as soon as possible on a fixed term, full-time basis.
As a Trustpower Meter Reader, your role will be to collect and coordinate meter data from both our domestic and commercial customers, focusing on safety at all times. Additionally you will maintain, update and communicate relevant information relating to metering installations.
Beyond your core duties, you will be an ambassador for Trustpower, providing superb customer service, and representing your Team with passion and professionalism at all times.
A core value at Trustpower is innovation. Therefore, as we strive to find smarter, more efficient ways of doing things, we may call on you for help and input - carrying out customer and equipment surveys and providing your own suggestions on how to improve the Meter Reading service.
Your naturally calm disposition, ability to think on your feet and remain agile will put you in good stead for this role. Key to your success in being considered to join our Team is your love of travel and your flexibility to stay away from home for out of region work at times.
You are an excellent communicator, able to relate to a wide range of people. Your work ethic and integrity is rock solid, and you pride yourself on doing a great job, happily managing and motivating yourself through the working day.
You already have a good basic understanding of standard software systems (such as Microsoft Office), and you are keen and able to learn new technologies to assist you in your role. A competent reader with an eye for detail, you can enter data accurately even on the busiest of days.
You are generally comfortable around dogs and other animals, and this - combined with knowing Trustpower's first priority is always our Meter Readers' safety - will see you feeling assured to carry out your role confidently with the full training provided.
Of course you will have a clean, Full Driver's License and a clear Police record as you will be provided with a vehicle to carry out your duties.
This is a fixed term role for 6 months initially, working full time at 80 hours per fortnight.
If you have any questions please contact Bernice Nel, Northern Meter Reading Team Leader on 027 406 3545. Applications close 5pm, Friday 22nd February 2019.
