My client supplies leading bathroom products and brands throughout New Zealand. A family business that has been grown from the ground up, established in 1987. Located in central Wellington, this showroom is exclusive with customers often booking appointments and visiting with their architects and designers. Being a small team, the retail Sales position is an autonomous role that looks after the showroom while the Sales Reps are on the road. Being a family-owned company, staff are treated with respect and belonging with a family feel approach.
This prestigious showroom needs a retail Salesperson who can provide outstanding customer service as well as administration support to the Sales Team. Reporting to the Regional Manager, this job entails meeting and hosting visitors at the showroom, preparing product schedules and quotes, reporting and specifications. This as a full time role with the hours of 8am until 5pm with some flexibility. As showroom visitors are mainly architects, designers and high-end customers, what is important in this role is that the Salesperson is well presented, a good communicator with strong computer skills and the ability to problem solve. A strong and respectful work ethic is essential, as well as a willingness to grow and develop within the company. This role requires some travel to Auckland in the first six months for training.
