On behalf of our client Resene we are thrilled to start the search for a Store Manager to take charge and run the Oamaru store.
Resene offers fantastic training and support, so you will be armed with all the tools of the trade to allow you to provide superior service to both the trade and retail side of this business.
We are looking for a hands-on leader to lead from the front and be a part of their successful team of four staff. This role requires someone who isn't afraid to role up their sleeves and mix the paint, while at the same time you will have exemplary customer service skills and professionalism.
This role will certainly offer variety, both in terms of customers and duties! Resene deals with both trade and retail customers therefore you will be dealing with all sorts of queries, from colours to volumes of paint and everything in-between!
The Store Manager is responsible for the day to day running of the store and duties include (but not limited to):
Opening and closing the store
Leadership, directing and supporting the team
Operating the till and eftpos
Providing product knowledge and professional advice to customers
Ordering and stocktaking
In order to be successful in this role you will be enthusiastic, have experience in leading a team, have good attention to detail and have a can-do attitude!
Hours of work for the successful person will be Monday-Friday 7.30am-5pm and a Saturday once a fortnight, hours being 9am-midday.
